School Uniform Policy

Proper uniform wearing is mandatory. Details include shirt, trouser/skirt, school tie, belt, shoes and socks as specified. Sports uniform on physical education days. No jewellery except small studs.

School Timings

School hours: Mon–Sat, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Pre-Primary: 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM. Students must be at school 5 minutes before start time. Late arrivals require prior parental communication.

Attendance Policy

Minimum 75% attendance is mandatory as per CBSE regulations to appear in board and promotional examinations. Medical leave requires a doctor's certificate. Planned absence needs written prior permission.

Parent & Student FAQs

What are the parent visiting hours at MLZS Pusad?
Parents can visit the school Monday to Saturday between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM. All visitors must carry a valid photo ID. For specific teacher meetings, please schedule an appointment in advance through the school office.
How can parents track their child's academic progress?
Parents can track progress through the EPFuture app (available at mlz.epfuture.in), regular Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs), written progress reports, and our Coffee Mornings with the Principal.
What is the school's uniform policy?
School uniform is mandatory on all school days. The uniform includes the designated shirt, trousers/skirt, school tie, belt, black leather shoes and white socks. Sports uniform is worn on PE days. Detailed uniform specifications are shared at the time of admission.
How are school notifications sent to parents?
Notifications are sent via the EPFuture app, SMS, WhatsApp groups and physical circulars in the student diary. Important announcements are also posted on the school notice board and website.
Does MLZS Pusad have a parent-teacher meeting system?
Yes. Regular PTMs are scheduled throughout the academic year. In addition, MLZS Pusad conducts Coffee Mornings where parents meet informally with the Principal to discuss concerns and share feedback in a relaxed setting.
What extracurricular activities are available for students?
Students can participate in dance, music, fine arts, drama, debate, science clubs, sports (cricket, football, kabaddi, athletics), NCC/NSS equivalent activities, and national-level MLZS Litera Verse competitions.
